A sore back or stiff neck can make even simple days feel hard — sitting through work, lifting a grandchild, getting up from a chair without wincing. We'll help you find what's actually going on, and a plan to feel more like yourself.
Book a consultationMaybe it's from years of physical work, long hours bent over a desk, or a strain that never fully healed. Back and neck pain has a way of settling in and staying — making it harder to sleep, work, or play with your apok. You've probably already tried rest, ointment, or a heating pad. Whether it came on suddenly or has been nagging for months, the most useful first step is the same: get it properly assessed before deciding what to do next.
You're not alone in this, and you don't have to just live with it. At MeridianHealth Medical Clinic in Lubao, that assessment comes first, always — and it's often the fastest way forward.
Every visit starts with a medical consultation with our doctor, not a treatment. We'll ask about your history, how the pain started, and what makes it better or worse, then examine you properly before recommending anything. Our TCM specialist is a graduate of the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a family-medicine specialist trained at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital (PGH), Manila — so your assessment blends modern medical judgment with traditional options where they genuinely help.
If appropriate, your doctor may recommend adding a traditional therapy alongside your medical care. In TCM, pain and stiffness are believed to come from qi (vital energy) and circulation becoming blocked in the affected area. Acupuncture is believed, within this same TCM framework, to help release that blockage and support the body's own recovery. Many patients use it for exactly this kind of everyday muscle and joint pain — but it's offered as a complement to your medical care, never a replacement for it, and never as a promised cure.
Your doctor will recommend which of these — if any — fit your situation, and in what order.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Lubao clinic, though booking ahead saves you the wait.
